As the dust settles on the ‘Life Without Limits’ conference – several questions still remain unanswered by the MDA.
Sources have told The Real Michael Pulman that the MDA overspent by up to $60,000 to put the conference together.
Many of the members present at the AGM on Saturday night didn’t partake in dinner at SkyCity, a dinner which cost $125 per person.
Voting numbers from the election of Heather Browning have also not been revealed by the MDA. Sources say that these numbers will not be released.
The latest financial report released sees the MDA running at a massive deficit of over $250,000.
Chris Higgins is still yet to comment publicly on allegations of verbally attacking Northern Branch member Joy Jenkin last Tuesday.
Emails that The Real Michael Pulman obtained show Higgins apologising for the incident.
Sources have also revealed that Tuesday’s incident wasn’t the first time Higgins has been involved in a verbal altercation with members of the association.
