All Blacks return to Chiefs squad

Most All Blacks have returned to the Chiefs for pre season training as the first trail game approaches.

Aaron Cruden, Liam Messam, Same Cane, and Brodie Retallick were all on hand at this mornings training and media session.

Sonny Bill Williams was the only missing part of an otherwise full Chiefs roster as he is currently in Sydney preparding for his fight against Chauncy Welliver on Saturday.

It appeared to be a fairly low key practice session

Cruden stuck mostly to the sidelines but was vocal during the team huddles and appeared to be helping out with advise on kick offs.

Cane and Rettalick were also pretty quiet, working on a few ball handling skills and running drills.

With his fight against a now confirmed opponent in Rhys Sullivan, Chiefs loose forward Liam Messam also kept himself pretty quiet.

The Chiefs first trail game will be against the Blues in Whangarei tomorrow night.
